The international break is over now and most Club coaches are happy because it would be the last international break this year which means all the players will focus on Club football for the next three months, all the players will return to their team for either treatment or to join their teammates in training, two of the Clubs that won’t be happy with the international break is Liverpool and Real Madrid, both clubs have lost some of their top players to injury in the international window which would affect them in their next game.
Liverpool would play one of the most in form team in the Premier League this weekend without their key players, Leicester City are currently the team at the top of the table in the League and they would be happy that they are facing Liverpool now because of the number big players that would miss the match, Liverpool top defenders are all injured, Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Fabinho won’t be available against Leicester City, Salah won’t play also because he has tested positive for Covid-19.
Real Madrid also have their own issues when it comes to the number of players that are injured, their Captain got injured in Spain six goals to nothing thrashing of Germany in the Nations League which means he would miss the next match, Eden Hazard has not been consistent for Real Madrid since he joined from Chelsea and the story still continued this season as he has missed most game due to injury, Raphael Varane won’t be available for Real Madrid next game due to injury which means Real Madrid are without their two best defenders.
Jurgen Klopp and Zinedine Zidane would be worried about their injury record this season but they would surely win games without their big players because they are one of the best teams in Europe, they have some backup players that could fill the void temporarily.
